Sri Sang Wan Waterfall at Pha Daeng National Park in Chiang Dao. is limestone waterfall affords a place to relax. The waterfall is composed of 4 levels, 10-12 meters wide, 20 meters high. it is about 150 meters from the main road.
Sri Sangwan Waterfall is a large and beautiful limestone waterfall. Because it is limestone, it is not slippery. Tourists can walk up the waterfall. The water is not deep, except during the rainy season when it is forest water. Normally, the officials will prohibit playing in the water. Inside, there are short nature trails and a fern garden to study. Sri Sangwan Waterfall is adjacent to the office of Pha Daeng National Park.
The main tourist attractions of Pha Daeng National Park are Sri Sangwan Waterfall, Pong Ang Hot Spring (about 1 kilometer away from Sri Sangwan Waterfall), and Doi Kam Fa. You can use the same ticket for all three places within one day. The entrance fee does not include other services. Pong Ang Hot Spring is located in the area of responsibility of Pha Daeng National Park.
This hot spring is different from Ban Yang Pu Tao Hot Spring. The specialty of Ban Yang Pu Tao Hot Spring is that there are hot and cold water next to each other. Tourists can soak in different temperatures. For Pong Ang Hot Spring, there is a separate cold shower room. But the special thing is that the smell of sulfur is weaker than at Ban Yang Pu Tao Hot Spring.
